Imran Khan was born on 25th November 1952 in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. His parents placed great emphasis on education and ensured that Imran received the best. He attended the Royal Grammar School in Worcester and then went on to Keble College, Oxford UK.        For more than four years after retiring from cricket in 1992, Imran Khan focused his efforts solely on 

Social Work. By 1991, he had founded the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Trust, a charity organization bearing the name of his mother, Mrs. Shaukat Khanum. The result was the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre  in Lahore, the first and only cancer hospital of international standards in Pakistan, dedicated to providing first-class treatment of cancer to all its patients, irrespective of their ability to pay. In 1994 when the project required more financing for the ongoing construction, Imran Khan launched a mass contact campaign in which he toured 27 cities in the country and collected Rs. 120 million. During the entire campaign for the construction of the hospital, over a million individual donors from ordinary citizens to the rich and famous pitched in. Everything from cash to jewelry and valuables was donated. Also Namal College was built by the Mianwali Development Trust (MDT), as chaired by Imran Khan, and was made an associate college of the University of Bradford in December 2005.

Today, Imran has entered the world of politics and has set up his own party.Imran Khan’s  party name Tehrik e Insaaf. Imran Khan was deeply shocked and realized that the only way to change things in Pakistan  is through an independent judiciary. To fight corruption and bring the rule of law he formed his own political party, Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf (PTI) or Movement for Justice. The slogan of PTI is Justice, Humanity and Self Esteem. Imran Khan represented Mianwali as a Member of the National Assembly from November 2002 to October 2007. Imran Khan has unforgettable personality as cricketer, politician, father and a human being.
